Ornavi is an evolution of an application that was written for our parent company back in 1999. The software was designed with the aim of replacing the outdated job management methods of multiple ledger books and spreadsheets, that were being used to record all jobs, clients, quotes and purchase orders. We were looking for a business management software with a project orientated structure.
Since then the internal software has been refined and gone through several rewrites to make use of different development technologies as they have appeared and taken hold, such as going online with the cloud. Innovative modules have been developed and integrated with the system to add new functionality, but whilst maintaining the original design principles of a clean, intuitive and simple user interface.
Ornavi was continually receiving a high level of interest from people who saw it in action. Customers, accountants, auditors and even competitors were all saying the same thing; “Wow. I wish we had something like that.”.
We finally took the hint and in 2012 the system was re-written from the ground up to be as flexible as possible so that others can use it and benefit from it in the same way as our company has for years. Ornavi is now a sophisticated online job management software that empowers people up and down the country to grow their business with confidence.
